The Ladybirds Dance Team is the official dance team of Johns Hopkins University. It is a completely student-run and student-choreographed team. We focus on several different dance styles, including pom, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary. 

 

The Ladybirds attend a dance competition in the Spring. We also perform during half time at JHU football, basketball, and lacrosse games, as well as at other performing arts events on campus. 

 

The members of Ladybirds all come from diverse dance backgrounds and are encouraged to contribute their styles in choreography throughout the year, especially during the annual Ladybirds Spring Showcase in April.

 

Fall 2017 auditions will be held Tuesday, September 5th at 5:30pm n the Caplan Dance Studio (see "Auditions" tab for details).
